My skin tends toward being dry, but I also tend to sweat a lot. Surprisingly, this lotion worked for me. I had some trouble figuring out how much to use in the beginning, but then I figured out that a little can go a long way. My skin feels moisturized throughout the day, and its texture has improved to be more soft and smooth.

The product promises to bind moisture skin to keep it hydrated and soothed, and thats exactly what it does. What I like best is that the Cetaphil moisturizing lotion is completely fluff-free and does not mention any special ingredients or properties. It is formulated to simply hydrate your skin, and it completely delivers on its claims.

I also noticed that the blackheads on my nose have visibly reduced about two weeks into using Cetaphil moisturizing lotion on my face.

If I could change one thing about this product, I would add SPF to it so that I dont have to use a sunblock over it.

I had a friend with cystic acne try out the product with me and she seems to have liked it as much as I did, if not more. She was already using the Cetaphil cleanser and while the lotion did not clear out her skin, it has definitely kept it hydrated without causing any breakouts. The non-comedogenic claim is not just a claim and definitely comes through.

Seeing how she had been having a lot of issues with her skin, Im pretty sure that the lotion is going to stay on her shelf for a while.

The main difference will be in texture, smell, how well they spread on your body, if they feel sticky or comfortable on your skin, things like that.

You should be able to judge these products based on your first impressions, on how you feel and prefer each brand.

Cerave Vs Cetaphil Creams And Lotions

Once again we have a pool of options and with time, I will update these sections with more products.

For now, lets start talking about facial products.

Pretty much as I said for the cleansers, both cerave and cetaphil have three types of creams and lotions:

• Face & Body creams and lotions
• Just for the face
• Just for the body

And we are going to talk about them in detail but in sum, I found the face and body products very interesting.

And to my surprise, I liked them better than facial moisturizers.

Cerave Vs Cetaphils Face & Body Lotion / Moisturizer

I tried both Cerave and Cetaphil Moisturizers for face & body. I have also asked my mom to try them out and tell me what she thought.

To be super on point, we liked the Cetaphils face and body cream better than Ceraves correspondent.

We both agreed that skin gets way more softer, with Cetaphils formula, which is more lightweight.

Ceraves texture is really thick, and it is pretty similar to Cetaphils body moisturizing cream.

Maybe if your skin is extremely dry and if you like and are used to very thick textured creams, you might like it.

Oftentimes, extremely thick creams feel sticky so I dont really like the sensation.

Another important note is that strangely enough caraves face and body cream gave me acne.

Which didnt happen with cetaphils face and body cream, which I loved.

So if you have acne prone skin, do not use cerave moisturizer for face and body.

Another thing Id like to highlight is that my hand skin was really dry and It got extremely nourished after 2 weeks of using this Cetaphils moisturizer.

Will I Recommend It

I would definitely recommend this lotion for people with normal, dry, and combination skin types. It is also a handy lotion to have on your shelf if you have babies or someone with sensitive skin in the house. However, I am sure that there are other products that are better suited for people with oily skin available in the market.

Cerave Vs Cetaphil Cleansers

Cerave and Cetaphil have both facial cleansers and cleansers that you can use on your face and body.

In this section Lets talk about:

I tried the Cetaphil facial cleanser and the cerave cleansing gel, which are very similar.

They are similar in texture, how it feels on the skin, and they both feel almost the same after washing.

However, I felt Ceraves cleanser was more hydrating than Cetaphils cleanser.

Cetaphil Face & Body Lotion

I loved the Cetaphils face and body lotion, but I use it with caution.

This is because if I apply too much, my skin will feel sticky for a long time.

I dont know about you, but I dont like when my skin feels sticky.

Thats why in the first moment I applied it, because I exaggerated, I thought I would not like it.

But soon enough I noticed how easy this cream is to spread on the body, and you dont even need too much.

Once I got the hang of it, I could only say a word. FABULOUS.

The best part and which surprised me a lot, I loved using this cream as a facial moisturizer.

In fact I prefer it on my face over other facial creams, including the cetaphils cream, which well talk about later.

Heres why I loved the Cetaphils face and body Lotion:

• Extremely gentle
• Spreads really well on the body
• My skin feels super soft. I even cant stop hubbing my legging onto one another ahaha yes it feels that amazing!
• Just need a little bit and it is enough to entire body including face

I Am Stating Here The Cons Of Both Products As The Complaints Are Quite Similar

I know there is a value to cleansing cosmetics that dont lather as they tend to be less abrasive / harsh on skin.

But I have seen products out there that lather and are still gentle.

One great example is the cetaphil face and body cleanser which we will talk about later.

I have also experienced great results with vichy soap which lathers and doesnt dry my face out.

Both Cetaphil and Ceraves facial cleansers I tested dont lather that much, which makes me use more product.

Because if I dont do that, I simply feel the skin is not cleansed enough.

I know it may be only my impression, but I know there are people out there, who are not used to cosmetics that dont lather.

A second point that I didnt like was how it was not so easy to rinse out the soap while washing.

Cerave Facial Moisturizer Pm

I am talking about the Cerave Moisturizer PM but I will still try the Cerave AM facial moisturizing.

But its ok because for the day I am using the Cetaphils Body and Face and for going out I am using Cetaphil Acne control.

More about the Cetaphil Acne Control later. But if you have normal and dry skin bare with me because what I have to say serves for you too.

I am planning to test Cerave AM facial moisturizing too just because I love the Cetaphil Lotion PM.

Before I go bad, I have a shower, wash my face, apply serum and then I use the PM lotion.

The reason I love it is because of the texture and how it feels on the skin.

This is not sticky, lightweight, my skin absorbs it and feels super, super soft.

Normally when going to sleep I dont care about shine control but this cream doesnt even make my skin really shiny.

I highly recommend it if you are looking for a night cream that is great and not too heavy.

You can use it even if you have oily, dry or sensitive skin you will find great results.

Heres what it did to my skin:

• Improved my skin texture
• Skin got softer and look healthier
• Even noticed skin looks more relaxed
