I almost never go see a doctor outside of my insurance provider network but I am more than happy to do so with Dr. Downes. IMO, shes a brilliant diagnostician as she was able to get me on the right treatment quickly . She is a highly competent doctor and I fully entrust her to provide the utmost in quality care for myself and my family for all needs related to her specialty. I only wished I found her sooner to save myself the aggravation of other ineffective treatments but then again, how else can you find and recognize a stellar doctor without experiencing less?
Dr. Downes is an excellent dermatologist. She is very organized and intelligent. Ive taken both kids to her and I plan to see her as well. Much more cost effective way to do healthcare the way her practice is set up. I wish all physicians and their practice could be set up this way. This is the answer to fixing our healthcare system. Insurance companies need to stop owning physicians and dictating how they practice. Dr. Downes is able to do whats right because she does not allow insurance industry to dictate how she practices medicine. Great doctor and practice!

Job Posting For Dermatology Front Desk Receptionist
The Skin Care Center, now part of Dermatologists of Central States, is a Dermatology practice with locations in Lakeview, Glenview, and Lake Forest. We are seeking to hire a part-time front desk receptionist to work in our Lake Forest location.
EMR knowledge is plus. We currently use EMA.
Dermatology experience preferred. Prior medical front desk experience preferred. Experience with Medical Grade Skin Care lines preferred.
Customer service skills required as well as an ability to multitask.
Duties will include check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, obtaining referrals, payment collection, communication with patients and pharmacies, scanning to the EMR, and other administrative duties as requested by office managers and physicians.
Part Time 25-30 hours weekly. Free parking. Employee discounts. Employee referral program. Job Type: Part Time Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
