Alison S Kang Md Facms
Dr. Alison S. Kang is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in cosmetic/laser dermatology and skin cancer surgery. She attended Johns Hopkins University, where she majored in both Public Health Studies and Spanish. She then received her medical doctorate at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where she graduated as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, a highly selective medical honors society, for her excellence in scholarly achievement and leadership.

The ACMS was established by Dr. Frederic Mohs himself, and its fellowship training program is generally acknowledged as the benchmark in Mohs surgery training. Through an extensive application and interview process, only the most qualified physicians are selected by the ACMS to participate in a fellowship program. Participants must undergo a rigorous 1 to 2-year training program subsequent to completing a residency in dermatology.

Dr. Anne R. Zhuang graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a minor in Economics. She earned her Medical Degree from Duke University, where she received a full-merit scholarship. She then returned to California and completed her Dermatology residency at the University of California, San Diego, where she acted as a Chief Resident during her final year. After residency, Dr. Zhuang went on to pursue advanced fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery at the University of California Davis, as well as in cosmetic and laser dermatology with Dr. Suzanne Kilmer at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of Northern California.

She is a Diplomate Fellow of The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and member of The American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery . She also serves as volunteer faculty for UC Davis NP/PA program by guest lecturing for dermatology.

The health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. Our in-office safety policies are aligned with the latest guidelines issued by the CDC and local government officials related to COVID-19.
New safety policies for patients:
- Patients will undergo screening questions and receive comprehensive instructions about our new policies prior to their appointment.
- To minimize contact, we will offer patients virtual check in and check out.
- Patients will be instructed to come to the office wearing a mask.
- Patient temperatures will be checked via forehead scanners upon arrival to the office.
- We have reorganized our offices to maximize social distancing and cleanliness, and we have altered workflows to allow patients to wait outside or in their cars until their exam room is ready. Patients will be contacted via text message or phone call when the provider is ready for the visit to begin.
- We are asking for patients to arrive at their appointment alone. For children and adult patients who require a caretaker, one adult may accompany the patient.
- Patients who are sick or have had exposures to COVID-19 will be rescheduled.
