I bought the jergens skin firming daily toning moisturizer a while back….skeptical but it fit my budget.After using for a couple weeks I did notice that my skin was very supple. Not sure about tightening anything but it is a great lotion that seems to keep my skin healthy and hydrated.For the price point this lotion is really good! I don’t think there is any particular miracle cream that will do everything it promises…but this comes close. It keeps your skin healthy and hydrated which in turn keeps it supple, so I guess that’s where they get the firming aspect from.I have used other lotions when I couldn’t find the jergens skin firming daily toning moisturizer and have found that even pricier brands don’t seem to measure up.This really is a trusted name brand that measures up in my opinion.I live in a hot, fairly dry climate and have hard water and this keeps my skin look and feeling great!

The way you use this product is really what sets it apart. It’s not intuitive, but once I got my head around the application process, I fell in love with it. The brand advises slathering the lotion onto wet skin right after a shower, specifying roughly a dime-sized amount for each arm and a quarter-sized amount for each leg. There is also a note on the back of the bottle to apply sparingly around ankles, knees, and elbows because of the self-tanning agent in the formula. .
Once you’ve applied the product you then just towel it off. That’s right, you “pat dry” before getting dressed. I must admit I balked at this directive the first time I used the product. I was wondering how on earth it could possibly do a thing to moisturize my skin, let alone tan it, in a matter of moments. I was also concerned my towel might absorb the product and turn an unsettling shade of orange. It turns out, I didn’t need to worry. My towel remained white and my skin felt hydrated and silky. I’ve tried many a product that claims to “sink in fast,” so I was pleased to find that I could actually get dressed immediately after.

The moisturizer is white in colour and is thick in consistency and spreads out evenly onto the body without forming any layer or leaving any residue. It is a long lasting product.
As far as skin toning and firming is concerned it does very little for that. The skin look firmer but these benefits are not long lasting. It doesnt really deal with or tackle cellulite and thus that claim is false.
If you want a good moisturizer which makes your skin feel soft, smooth, hydrated and supple and adequately moisturized then go for this. But if you think it will magically and drastically change your body and make it look toned and firm then thats false as it doesnt do any of that.

Packaging: The bottle is made of plastic yet its sturdy. The cap is light blue colour and has flip open system. The body of the bottle is of white colour which has all the details of the product at the back.
Texture/Colour: The colour of the moisturizer is white. The texture is thick, not liquid like. Its texture is similar to conditioner.
Fragrance: I am not great at describing fragrances, but I will try. It smells a little like antiseptic liquid which is not noticeable, its not at all overwhelming.

There isn’t much to say about the skin south of my face and neck, other than it’s not needy and, thus, is highly neglected. I don’t suffer much from things like dry patches or body breakouts, although when the weather gets dry, I do find my legs can get scaly. When that happens I just start taking more baths spiked with nourishing oils. I do dry brush a few times a week to keep keratosis pilaris at bay, but thats really it.

Since I don’t have an established routine involving body lotion I figured seeing it there would remind me to use it. I applied it daily for a week until I’d reached a level of bronze that I was happy with , then backed off to once every few days. When I wasn’t using it daily my skin remained soft in between uses, which was an unexpected bonus.
