Can Apple Cider Vinegar Be Dangerous
Using apple cider vinegar on your skin can lead to dangerous burns. In a 2015 paper, dermatologists treated a 14-year-old who applied apple cider vinegar to a mole and was left with skin damage on her face.
The authors wrote: Common vinegars are weak acids that contain 4 to 8 percent acetic acid, which can erode the skin and cause significant chemical burns, especially when applied under occlusion. Occlusion means the area is covered and the ACV is prevented from evaporating.
In another report, dermatologists at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, documented the treatment of an 8-year-old child whose mother applied apple cider vinegar to his skin lesion. The next day, the child had a chemical burn.
Another reason to hold off on applying ACV to a mole is that if you do manage to burn it off, your doctor cant tell if it was cancerous or precancerous. When doctors remove melanoma, they typically cut out the mole plus some tissue underneath to make sure all the cancerous cells are gone.

LDH concentrations might be a better prognosis factor to classify advanced melanoma .
Other circulating factors such as circulating nucleic acids or EV could be used in melanoma detection as a prognosis factor in advanced stages of diseases. Indeed, circulating EVs from stage III to stage IV are enriched TYRP2 , a specific melanoma protein, VLA4 and HSP90. Furthermore, these enriched EVs correlated with poor survival prognosis . These authors identified a specific exosomes protein signature that could be used as a prognosis marker in stages III and IV melanoma patients .
Besides, circulating EV carries melanoma markers such as S100B and MIA proteins. Concentrations of EVS100B and EVMIA are higher in stage IV melanoma patients and such EV was associated to poor prognosis in patients . Detection of such EV could be used as an additional diagnosis and prognosis marker of melanoma patients. In contrast, these authors did not find an increase in TYRP2 containing exosomes in plasma of melanoma patients. This discrepancy could be due to difference in EV isolation, or EV concentrations/number analysis . Finally, circulating EV enriched in oncogenes miRNAs mir17 and miR19a could be used as predictive markers in melanoma patients .

My daughter had 2 melanomas and we removed them with blood root , but it was clear when we removed them that one had gone very deep into the blood supply. I switched her to an alkaline diet, gave her large doses of Vitamin C and got her into the sunshine every day to boost her immune system. But I also gave her broccoli sprout juice everyday because I’d read that this actively reduces cancer and I didn’t want the metastasized cells establishing themselves.
She ate like this for 5 months and drank what she considered to be horrible tasting broccoli sprout juice. It was a long 5 months and I didn’t sleep well, but when we took her back for a scan she was cancer free. I wasn’t sure that the broccoli sprout juice had been what had actually that cured her because we had also given her vitamin C until 3 years later.

What Does The Research Say About Apple Cider Vinegar And Skin Cancer
Studies that examine a link between an acidic environment in the body and cancer have shown mixed results.
In one 1996 paper published in Clinical & Experimental Metastasis, scientists found that human melanoma cells may grow and spread more quickly in an acidic environment. But this study was performed on cultured cell samples in a lab.
Other experiments have shown no link between an acidic environment and cancer activity.
Some organizations, such as the American Institute for Cancer Research , say foods like apple cider vinegar have little effect on the bodys pH level. In fact, many experts believe it would be nearly impossible to alter the cell environment to create less acidity in the body.
According to the American Dietetic Association, Large, well-designed clinical trials on the effectiveness of the many claims made for the alkaline diet are lacking.
