The complications of this condition can be very painful and disruptive. Sometimes the hands are cracked, fissured, and bleeding, and it can cause lots of pain, says Lio. He adds that soaking in diluted apple cider vinegar or black tea can help to dry blisters. For milder cases, these can be enough to get people through, but usually if things are more severe, we often need more powerful treatments.

Research into the bathing remedies he mentions have had mixed results on people with related types of eczema.

After ruling out the two most prominent causes, we went further down the list. Next one was the Sun.

Sun exposure did not make any sense to me since it was not the top of my hands that was peeling it was the palms.

Doctors sometimes call dyshidrotic eczema pompholyx eczema.

Pompholyx is the word for bubble in Ancient Greek. The condition produces painful, itchy blisters on the hands and feet. Water-filled blisters can appear on the fingers, palms of the hands, soles of the feet, and toes.

People with this type of eczema may also have other types of eczema elsewhere on the body.
